THE FUTURE
1. Future simple: will / shall (only with I or We)
+ bare infinitive
We use the future simple to talk about future
facts:
ü The sun will rise at
6.30 tomorrow morning.
ü In a few days we shall
go on holiday.
2. Future continuous: will
+ be + -ing
We use the future
continuous to talk about events
or actions that will be in progress at a specific time in the future:
ü This time tomorrow, I’ll
be travelling through France.
3. Future perfect simple: will +
have + past participle
We use
the future continuous to talk about actions or events that will
already be completed by a certain time in the
future:
ü By the year 2015, I’ll
have left school and started work.
4. Future perfect continuous: will +
have + been + -ing
We use
the future continuous to talk about the continuous nature of actions and events in the future:
ü On Saturday, we’ll
have been living here for three years.
OTHER WAYS TO TALK ABOUT THE FUTURE

Present simple:
This tense is used
to talk about scheduled, timetabled or fixed events:
ü The match starts at
7.30 tomorrow evening.
ü The train leaves in an hour.
